They all wear dark jumpers with dark shorts. One team's players (Royal New Zealand Air Force?) have a distinctive white emblem on their left breast. On reverse, affixed printed label reads, in part '3d. Official Programme. 3d. / RUGBY FOOTBALL, RICHMOND ATHLETIC GROUND. / E. de LISSA, Secretary. / R.N.Z.A.F. V R.A.A.F. / Saturday 23rd October 1943...'. Also on reverse, handwritten pencil inscription reads 'BRUCE ANDREW (RAAF) TACKLES D. GRANT N.Z.'.
