The Albertland and Districts Museum Inc, located less than one hour north of Auckland City, houses memorabilia and history of the Albertland Settlement of the 1860s. Visitors from Te Papa have stated “The Albertland Museum houses a unique and irreplaceable collection that cannot be replicated within New Zealand.”

Owaka Museum is on the south-east edge of Aotearoa / New Zealand. The museum provides a window on what made the Catlins the place it is today. Multi-media exhibitions present stories on Maori and pioneers, shipping, farming, forestry, rail, military and life in general enhanced by Catlins collection items.
