Features crouched embroidered metallic flower (rose) on the front, with the numbers "1875 6 7 8" in metallic thread below. Attached to the crown is a metallic gold tassel. The cap is lined with blue and black striped fabric, and is inscribed, in black ink, BLACKHEATH/ENGLAND/SCOTLAND/IRELAND/A.W. PEARSON 1875.
