The teams are listed on pages 8 and 9, and brief notes on the Victorian players are on page 8. The curtain raising games were between the R.A. Naval College and Scotch College, and between the Combined Services and a Metropolitan Team. Inscription on cover page, in part: 'Victorian Rugby Union QUEENSLAND/ Versus/ VICTORIA/ Melbourne C. C. Ground/ Saturday, 29th July, 1950/at 3.0 p.m./...'.
